                    Monday Night Salsa

 

Ingredients:back to antojitos
   2 Avocados
   2 Jalapenos
   2 oz. Dried Pasilla-Ancho Chili Pods
   1 Brown Onion
   1 Cilantro Bunch
   5 14.5 oz cans of stewed tomatoes
   Salt

Directions:
   Quite simple actually. First get a container that can hold about 80 ounces (10 cups). Chop the whole onion and the cilantro bunch into as tiny pieces as you can and put in the container.
   My blender is not big enough so I divide the ingredients and blend twice. I add 2 1/2 cans of tomatoes (about 36.25 ounces), 1 jalapeno, 1 oz of the Pasilla chiles and a touch of salt to taste into the blender. Blend and pour the contents in the container with the onion and cilantro. with a spoon I mix it all together. Repeat the blending process and pour in container.
Chop the 2 avocados, add them and mix with spoon.
   Let the games begin!!
